Ruth V. Aguilera was recently elected as an Academy of Management (AOM) fellow. Since she is also a fellow of both the Strategic Management Society (SMS) and the Academy of International Business (AIB), she has earned entrance into what she calls the “Triple Crown” – an exclusive group of professionals who have made a mark in the domains of strategy, international business, and management.

With the addition of Professor Paula Caligiuri to the Academy of International Business' select fellowship ranks, D'Amore-McKim School of Business has the highest concentration of AIB Fellows at one academic institution.

Launched this year, the Bradford-Osborne Research Award is the first national award to recognize research published in peer-reviewed journals that contributes to advancing the growth of businesses owned by people of color. Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship & Innovation Venkat Kuppuswamy received the award for his co-authored 2017 Management Science paper, “The Colorblind Crowd? Founder Race and Performance in Crowdfunding.”

Ruth V. Aguilera's research, teaching, and service efforts are significant and have attracted worldwide acclaim. In 2016 she was named a Fellow to the Academy of International Business (AIB), and in 2018 she was inducted as a Fellow to the Strategic Management Society (SMS).

D'Amore-McKim is pleased to congratulate Ruth V. Aguilera, Distinguished Professor in International Business and Strategy, on her recent induction as Fellow to the Strategic Management Society (SMS).

D'Amore-McKim School of Business Professor of International Business and Strategy and Group Coordinator Christopher Robertson was recently selected as a Fulbright Scholar, his third time receiving the prestigious honor.

University Distinguished Professor of International Business and Strategy Ravi Ramamurti and his co-author Vijay Govindarajan (VG), were recently awarded the inaugural Strategic Management Society's (SMS) 2017 Global Strategy Journal (GSJ) Best Paper Award.

D'Amore-McKim School of Business Distinguished Professor Mark Huselid was recently named a fellow by the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) and the National Academy of Human Resources (NAHR).

Yakov Bart, assistant professor of marketing at the D'Amore-McKim School of Business was recently named to the Poets&Quants for Undergraduates Top 40 undergraduate business professors list. Bart's placement on the list highlights his commitment to bringing real-world experience and relevance into the classroom.

With the addition of Professors Ruth V. Aguilera and Alvaro Cuervo-Cazurra to the Academy of International Business' select fellowship ranks, D'Amore-McKim School of Business now stands as one of only five institutions featuring three or more AIB fellows worldwide.
