Research on international business norms leads Northeastern professor to win Fulbright Scholarship award
Luis Dau is the recipient of the Fulbright Distinguished Scholar Award and Northeastern's interdisciplinary sabbatical program, which allows professors to take up to two semesters to teach and research at a different college within the university system.

AOM fellowship gives Aguilera the ‘triple crown'
Ruth V. Aguilera was recently elected as an Academy of Management (AOM) fellow. Since she is also a fellow of both the Strategic Management Society (SMS) and the Academy of International Business (AIB), she has earned entrance into what she calls the “Triple Crown” – an exclusive group of professionals who have made a mark in the domains of strategy, international business, and management.
International Business Scholar appointed to prestigious professorship
Michael Enright, a leading expert on global competitiveness and corporate strategy, and a Center for Emerging Markets Faculty Fellow, was named the first Pierre Choueiri Family Professor in Global Business at the D'Amore-McKim School of Business.
Caligiuri named AIB Fellow
With the addition of Professor Paula Caligiuri to the Academy of International Business' select fellowship ranks, D'Amore-McKim School of Business has the highest concentration of AIB Fellows at one academic institution.
Kuppuswamy recognized with prestigious Bradford-Osborne Award
Launched this year, the Bradford-Osborne Research Award is the first national award to recognize research published in peer-reviewed journals that contributes to advancing the growth of businesses owned by people of color. Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship & Innovation Venkat Kuppuswamy received the award for his co-authored 2017 Management Science paper, “The Colorblind Crowd? Founder Race and Performance in Crowdfunding.”
Aguilera named new D'Amore-McKim Brodsky Trustee Professor
Ruth V. Aguilera's research, teaching, and service efforts are significant and have attracted worldwide acclaim. In 2016 she was named a Fellow to the Academy of International Business (AIB), and in 2018 she was inducted as a Fellow to the Strategic Management Society (SMS).
Cuervo-Cazurra receives honorary doctorate
Professor Alvaro Cuervo-Cazurra was the recipient of an honorary doctorate from Copenhagen Business School, the largest business school in Denmark with 20,000 students, in March.

D'Amore-McKim School of Business Professor Daniel McCarthy was recently named a Northeastern University Distinguished Professor, the highest rank that can be bestowed upon a faculty member.

Caligiuri honored by Institute for Cross-Cultural Management
