Our graduate certificates are short-term programs that focus on 17 different key topics of business. Pursuing a graduate certificate allows you to specialize your studies in the area of business that best suits your interests or career goals. You can expand your business knowledge in new topics or strengthen existing skills to advance your career potential and distinguish you from your peers.

  • Program structure: 12–15 credits offered full-time, part-time, or online, depending on your program.
  • Campus locations: Boston and 100% online.
  • Class schedule: Boston classes are held weeknights, Monday–Thursday, Online classes are self-paced.
  • Time to complete: Four months to three years, depending on your program.

Optional Practical Training (OPT)

Nine of our graduate certificates are compliant with F-1 visa regulations. For international students studying full-time on one of our U.S. campuses, you may become eligible to apply for Optional Practical Training (OPT), allowing you to apply to work for up to 12 months in the U.S.

Graduation Dates

Degrees are conferred in May, August, and December with a graduation ceremony held at the end of the spring term. Learn more about commencement.

Tuition

Northeastern Student Financial Services publishes the tuition rates for graduate programs. Under the “Graduate Programs” section, the cost per credit appears next to “D'Amore-McKim School of Business Programs.”

Financial Aid

Northeastern's Student Financial Services team will guide you through options to help you finance your graduate education. You can learn more about graduate financial aid options on their website.

Once you become a student, your financial aid advisor will work with you to answer your questions, and provide valuable insight as you navigate the financial commitments of your program.

Scholarships

D'Amore-McKim and Northeastern University offer a variety of scholarships. Campus-based applicants will automatically receive consideration for a merit scholarship. You may also qualify for funding support as an alumU.S. servicemember, or veteran.
