We encourage all D'Amore-McKim graduate students and alumni to participate in virtual work experiences.
What your virtual work experience may look like
A virtual work experience program is an online course created by a participating company that simulates the day-to-day tasks you'd carry out if you were an employee. Once you register and choose your program of interest, you'll be briefed online on your assignment.
Timeline
A typical program takes five or six hours to complete. You'll complete and submit all tasks virtually, working at your own pace.

D'Amore-McKim students and alumni can participate in these programs for free. You won't receive compensation for your participation.
The virtual work experience can get you job-ready in several ways. Besides the skills you'll learn and the confidence you'll gain, you can also make your Forage profile accessible to recruiters once you've completed a program. You can showcase your certificate on LinkedIn—and if you eventually apply for a job with your virtual employer, you have a distinguishing feature on your resumé highlighting your long-standing interest in the company.
Yes, both domestic and international students are welcome to participate! Virtual work experiences do not require CPT authorization.
