P.A.C. Mentorship Program
P.A.C.s are “Peer Affinity Cohorts”–groups of ~10-15 first-year D'Amore-McKim students who share similar career interest, personal passions, or identities led by two upperclassmen mentors who help support students through their first semester at Northeastern. The P.A.C. Program provides first-year students with the opportunity to build relationships with their assigned upperclassmen mentors and peers through monthly one-on-one mentoring sessions, group meetings, custom programs and community-wide events. P.A.C. Leaders receive training led by academic faculty on inclusive leadership, authentic leadership, and leading with empathy and compassion.
The P.A.C. Program aims to:
- immerse first-year students in the D'Amore-McKim School of Business community to help them begin to build relationships with their peers, faculty, and staff
- support students' social and emotional well-being during their transition to college
- connect students to relevant campus resources that support their individual needs and identities
- foster a sense of belonging and inclusivity in D'Amore-McKim.
