Northeastern students came together the month following George Floyd's death to pool their resources and technology know-how to support Black people with the launch of Build for Black Lives, an online platform that helps connect people who have technology and design skills with activists, organizers, and Black-owned businesses.

The D'Amore-McKim School of Business recently launched five new undergraduate concentrations: corporate innovation and venture, entrepreneurial startups, family business, fintech, and social innovation and entrepreneurship.

D'Amore-McKim student Eliana Berger, DMSB'21, launched the first virtual accelerator developed and run by students for students. Envision Accelerator will host online workshops, offer one-on-one mentorship from investors and founders of successful companies, and provide students insights into funding strategies.
