Q:What skills are you building at D'Amore-McKim that you will use in your future career?

A:At D'Amore-McKim, I am building and improving my negotiation, communication, and leadership skills. The curriculum is designed to teach leaders to think systematically in order to solve their organization's problems, enabling them to grow and remain relevant within their organization.

Q:Why did you choose D'Amore-McKim?

A:I found the level of commitment and professionalism to be unmatched, from the recruiting teams to the professors, and truly a step ahead of other institutions I considered. I was also attracted to Northeastern's unique curriculum and entrepreneurial focus. D'Amore-McKim aligns with my overall objectives and goals to be an impactful leader.

Q:How important was it to you to earn a master's degree program and then being able to apply those credits towards an MBA?

A:There is enormous value in having my Masters of Science in Innovation degree credits be able to count towards an MBA. From my Master's in Innovation degree I will be able to apply 30 of the necessary 60 credits towards my MBA, which will give me the necessary momentum to finish my MBA in just a couple of years and have two impactful, advanced degrees on my resume.

Q:What would you say to a prospective student considering D'Amore-McKim for their business degree? 

A:You will leave D'Amore-Mckim with much more than a business degree, you will leave with the confidence to make change, be competitive, and fulfill your goals. You will leave with friendships and a network that will help you both professionally and personally. Take the leap!

Q:Where do you see yourself in 5 or 10 years?

A:In the future, I see myself continuing to be leader and change agent for my organization.
