Core courses in accounting, management, marketing, data analysis, and entrepreneurship provide a strong business foundation. Electives make up more than half of the MBA, ensuring a broad understanding of modern business challenges and strategies.

Optional travel-based courses

Stand out further with experiential electives aligned to your career goals. These may include travel—such as a week-long residency in Washington, D.C., to explore how public policy shapes global economies, or a Global Field Study, where you'll travel and immerse yourself in another country's business practices.

You can also choose to use your electives to complete up to two focus areas—or specialize further by completing the AI for Applications in Business concentration plus one additional focus area. If you take three of the four AI courses, you'll earn a focus area in that subject instead.

  • Business Analytics: Learn to harness the power of big data, AI, machine learning, and more to drive strategic decisions, optimize operations, enhance customer experiences, and create value for organizations.
  • Finance: Become an invaluable expert in today's digitally-driven marketplace with the experience to address the complexities of modern financial markets, leverage technology, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Healthcare: Prepare to lead in the complex, rapidly growing healthcare industry, with the skills to manage rising costs, implement patient-centered care, and use data analytics to improve outcomes.
  • Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Gain the experience to launch and lead new ventures, with the expertise to identify market opportunities, develop innovative products and services, and adapt to the fast-paced, always-changing marketplace.
  • AI for Applications in Business: Build a foundation in AI, with practical insights on business implementation and ethical considerations. You can also choose this as a focus area by taking three out of the four courses.

Here, you'll take on projects with classes attached, which emphasizes your decision-making—how you gather and analyze information, whose input you need, and how you influence stakeholders. Very few Online MBA programs can say they offer this.
