Call for papers
Following the success of our past nine conferences, the faculty in the Finance Group of Northeastern University's D'Amore-McKim School of Business are pleased to invite paper submissions from all areas of finance to be considered for presentation at the 10th Northeastern University Finance Conference. The conference will be held at the D'Amore-McKim School of Business and will start at noon on Friday, May 16th and end around Noon on Saturday, May 17th, 2025. There will be an evening conference reception dinner on Friday.
What we're looking for…
We encourage both theoretical and empirical contributions and seek papers that have not previously been presented at other conferences. We typically select papers written by those at an early stage of their career. All papers will be reviewed by our conference program committee. The final program will consist of about eight papers. See previous conference programs below.
In March 2025, we will contact invited participants with details on the program and travel logistics.
We will pay for (i) domestic economy airfare up to $500; (ii) up to two nights stay at the conference hotel; and (iii) conference meals and the dinner reception for one presenter per paper.
Submission deadline
Monday, Dec. 23, 2024
We will notify authors of accepted papers by mid-February 2025.
How to submit
- First, pay the submission fee of $100 here and collect your receipt for your payment. If the submitting author is facing a financial hardship to pay the submission fees, please email us at financeconf@northeastern.edu with the subject “Request for Fee Waiver” to seek a potential fee waiver.
- Send your payment receipt (PDF file) and your paper (also attached as a PDF) by email to financeconf@northeastern.edu. Please submit only one paper per presenting author.
