Each year the D'Amore-McKim School of Business honors a select group of business students who have demonstrated excellence on co-op.

Twenty-two is the lucky number for recipients of the 2022 Innovator Awards, given out by the Northeastern's Women Who Empower platform. A panel of judges selected 22 female honorees, who will receive a total of $220,000 in cash prizes, with first-place winners taking home $22,000 each in the award program's second year.

Roth, the CEO and president of BC Cancer Foundation, paved her own path to success through a 30-year career in fundraising and a relentless commitment to fostering growth in healthcare and education in Canada and the U.S.

Childhood memories of helping her little brother with a rare illness combined with a once-in-a-lifetime trip to Ghana to inspire Ashley Cummings, a Northeastern graduate, who created a body butter to provide relief for dry skin and eczema.

“Northeastern has allowed me to explore and achieve my highest potential. I attribute that success to the help and guidance I've received as a student.” says Meeta Chhabaria, MS in Quantitative Finance'22

“I earned a promotion to sector manager, where I managed a team of 14 analysts and developed my skills further, especially as a leader. I mentored the analysts by sharing my thoughts and reviewing their valuations. Overall, the 360 Huntington Fund helped me grow as an individual.” says Parth Patel MS in Finance'21

The Challenge of the Colleges turned into a back-and-forth, photo-finish race. The $30,000 first prize went to the D'Amore-McKim School of Business, whose 418 donors amounted to a 176.3% increase compared to 2021. The College of Science earned $10,000 for finishing a close second with 190 donors (a 175.9% gain).
