AI Strategic Hub

Elective. Solve client-centric challenges facing businesses and other organizations using data analytics and digital technology applications. Through an advanced research practicum, you'll gain experience delivering technical information to different audiences and enabling change within organizations.

Capstone Project

Required. Apply your business analytics expertise and skill to collect, visualize, analyze, and manage data from a real company to address a challenge or question. You'll need to choose the right data, analyze it skillfully, and leverage it as you formulate strategic recommendations.

Global Field Study

Elective. Get intense exposure to the global business environment with this elective course, which immerses you in the business practices and culture of another country. MS in Business Analytics students may select destinations within the United States.

Make an impact on a non-profit

Community Impact Initiative

Apply to lend your business knowledge, technical skills, and creative energies to a non-profit organization part-time over the summer. You're eligible if you haven't participated in a graduate co-op.

Summer Employment Statistics

  • 14 MSBA students participated in the Community Impact Initiative
  • Approximately 2,000 hours of work were done this summer to support seven nonprofit organizations
  • Nonprofits participating in this program include: Behind the Book, Candorful, Center for Women and Enterprise, Crossroads of Michigan, Hatua Network, Hudson River Park, The Trustees
  • Behind the Book was aided by students from four different programs, allowing each student to apply their studies uniquely when problem-solving
