Congratulations to the 2021 Co-op Award recipients!

The 2020 Husky Startup Challenge celebrated the entrepreneurial endeavors of our Northeastern community during an unprecedented time. During the event, a dozen ventures competed against one another for cash prizes and the approval of D'Amore-McKim judges including Steve Golden, Kate Murdock, DMSB'18, and Greg Skloot, DMSB'12.

Launched this year, the Bradford-Osborne Research Award is the first national award to recognize research published in peer-reviewed journals that contributes to advancing the growth of businesses owned by people of color. Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship & Innovation Venkat Kuppuswamy received the award for his co-authored 2017 Management Science paper, “The Colorblind Crowd? Founder Race and Performance in Crowdfunding.”

Dolph Johnson, EVP and Chief Human Resources Officer of Hasbro, Inc., and Roxanne Martinez, EVP and Chief Human Resources Officer of Dentaquest, will assume the roles of co-chairs, bringing many years of experience and leadership to the Board.

With the addition of Professor Paula Caligiuri to the Academy of International Business' select fellowship ranks, D'Amore-McKim School of Business has the highest concentration of AIB Fellows at one academic institution.

The 2019 Massachusetts Family Business of the Year Award winner for Small Firms describes what it's like to cultivate and grow a family-centered firm.

Gary Dunton, DMSB'78, and Lea Anne Dunton, received the Distinguished Service Award at the annual Northeastern Networked for Life event. It honors graduates who have promoted NU's mission by performing notable service to the university and its community.
