Digital convergence is the integration of the physical, digital, and human resources resulting in consolidated digital and physical ecosystems. During the first 20-30 minutes, D'Amore-McKim faculty will discuss how they have embraced digital convergence in their courses. Participants are encouraged to use the second half of this session to create activities for a current or upcoming course. Please bring a laptop with you to this session.

ABOUT IDG INTERACTIVE WORKSHOPS
Our interactive workshops use the flipped classroom model, a teaching approach that puts you at the center of learning by providing you with the opportunity to develop and implement online learning activities for your classroom. These sessions involve active engagement (hands-on activities) and are suitable for all learners—particularly motivated and advanced users.   We will share training materials for you to review prior to the workshop, enabling you to review the information at a time that is convenient for you and at your own pace. On the day of the workshop, you are strongly encouraged to bring your laptop and come ready to share your goals and ideas.
