In this session, we will explore a variety of asynchronoustools that can be used to foster student engagement and communication in your course in Canvas. We will demonstrate how to create and post announcements (text and video), send messages to specific students, groups, or the entire class using the Inbox tool, send messages using the Message Students Who feature in the Gradebook, create and reply to discussions (text and video), and set up groups and group discussions.
Registration is required. This session will be hosted online using Zoom. Detailed meeting information will be provided after registration. Registrants will also receive a reminder email the morning of the event with Zoom meeting room details.
