About the Event

China's Five Year Programs provide an overall blueprint for China's economic, social, and business development. The Five Year Programs have been used to signal nearly every major departure in China's economic policies in recent decades. The 14th Five Year Program, scheduled to be released in March 2021, will map out China's plans for post-COVID development, as well as its plans to increase its importance and influence in the global economy.

In this talk, Michael Enright, the Pierre Choueiri Family Professor of Global Business at the D'Amore-McKim School of Business, discussed the highlights of the Program and assess its potential impact on China and the world of global business.
