What are my next steps?

Submitting Your Transcript

If you have not already sent your official transcript to Northeastern, please request that the National Student Clearinghouse (www.studentclearinghouse.org), Parchment (www.parchment.com), or eSCRIP-SAFE (www.escrip-safe.com) email it to gradbusiness@northeastern.edu.

Please note that transcripts send by any other sender will be considered unofficial, but may be submitted in advance of the official documents. We recognize that there may be delays in receiving official documentation right now from your previous academic institutions.

If you earned a degree outside of the United States, a course-by-course international credential evaluation is required. Many of our students go through World Education Services (www.wes.org) to have this evaluation performed. There are additional organizations that perform this service and we will accept an evaluation by any organization recognized by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).

As always, if you have questions about this, please email us at gradbusiness@northeastern.edu.

Submitting Your Test Scores

GRE/GMAT

Northeastern has a test-optional policy and does not currently require a GMAT or GRE score to complete an application for admission. Under the new policy, you can decide whether to submit a GMAT or GRE score as part of your admission application. For more information, review our admissions policies.

If choosing to submit, please contact either MBA.com or ETS.org to have your official test scores sent directly to the D'Amore-McKim Graduate School of Business. Please use the following program codes:

All admitted students who will be studying with an F-1 visa need to complete an I-20 request form in order to move forward with the visa process to come to study in the United States. You should submit your form quickly because they are processed in the order received. You will use your Northeastern online account to login.

Complete the University Health Report

Massachusetts law requires all University students to provide documentation of vaccination. Please complete the University Health Report, sign the consent, and have your primary care clinician complete the state-mandated immunization form. Also see our page on the University Health Report during COVID-19 for updated information.

The completed University Health Report must be returned to University Health and Counseling Services by email: UHCS@northeastern.edu, or fax: 617-373-2601. Please do not send the health report to your advisor, because your health information is private.

Health Insurance Requirement

All full-time students are required by Massachusetts state law to have health insurance while they are enrolled at Northeastern.

You'll automatically be enrolled into the Northeastern University Student Health Plan (NUSHP). This health insurance is comprehensive and provides excellent coverage. It'll be your responsibility to waive the NUSHP health insurance if you have comparable, US based coverage. Instructions for how to waive the coverage can be found in the NUSHP FAQ page.

Northeastern University Vaccination Requirement

All students returning to Northeastern University's campuses for the Fall 2021 term will be expected to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by the first day of classes.

An important step in preparing to make Boston your home while you are a student is to determine where you will live. If you are relocating to the Boston area or are exploring new housing options, Northeastern offers resources to support you.

Off-campus Housing

Our off-campus student services website offers a multitude of resources for students who are looking for apartments, including information on different neighborhoods (descriptions, costs, parking, and transportation information), leasing information and tenant rights. There is also an off-campus apartment and roommate search website available.

Most students live within a three mile radius of the campus in the neighborhoods of Back Bay, Fenway, Mission Hill, and South End, however some of our students choose to commute from other areas of Boston.
