If you earned a degree outside the United States, you must request a course-by-course international credential evaluation. The Admissions Committee will accept an evaluation by any organization recognized by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). Many of our applicants use the services of World Education Services (www.wes.org).

Northeastern has a test-optional policy and does not currently require a GMAT or GRE score to complete an application for admission. If you include an unofficial test score with your application, the admissions committee will consider this in its admission and relevant scholarship award decisions. You must provide an official copy of your test score report as a condition of enrollment. For more information, review our admissions policies.

If you applied to D'Amore-McKim with unofficial or scanned copies of your English language proficiency test score, remember to request that your official documents be sent to us. We accept English language proficiency test scores from TOEFL iBT® (www.toefl.org), IELTS (www.ielts.org), Duolingo (englishtest.duolingo.com), and PTE Academic (www.pearsonpte.com).

Remember to “Claim Your Northeastern University Online Account” if you have not done it already. You should have received an email with instructions and a unique personalized link for you to use. Claiming your Northeastern account is an important step that will set up your Northeastern email and ensure you have access to the many university services, systems, and resources you'll use daily as a student.

Complete the University Health Report

By law, all incoming Northeastern University students must provide certain health history information before arriving on campus. Please complete the University Health Report and submit the completed report to immunizations@northeastern.edu or fax it to 617-373-2601.

Massachusetts law requires that every student enrolled in a campus-based certificate, diploma, or degree-granting program participate in their school's student health program or a health benefit plan with comparable coverage. You'll automatically be enrolled in the Northeastern University Student Health Plan (NUSHP), which you can waive if you have comparable US-based coverage.

If you're an international student pursuing an F-1 visa, you'll need an I-20 form to proceed with the visa process. To file your I-20, please visit your application portal for instructions. You can begin this process once you have claimed your Northeastern account.

Northeastern's MS in Quantitative Finance is designed to deepen your quantitative financial knowledge—but also to give you the background in financial technology and business analytics. You'll take challenging courses that integrate finance with other disciplines, such as economics, mathematics, and computer science.

You'll hone your interpersonal skills through our unique Career Management Class taught by our Graduate Career Center advisors so you will have an opportunity to learn how to operate in the U.S. business environment. This course meets regularly and includes dedicated coaching.

Orientation will be held on-campus and details will be shared directly with you closer to the Fall start date. There will be several sessions including a get-to-know you breakout session with your classmates and a class assimilation. Faculty and staff will be in attendance to help get all of your questions answered.

Determining where you will live is an important step in preparing to make Boston your home while you are a student. Most students live within a three-mile radius of the campus in the neighborhoods of Back Bay, Fenway, Mission Hill, and South End; however, some of our students choose to commute from other areas of Boston. If you are relocating to Boston or exploring new housing options, Northeastern offers resources to support you.

We know that many future students have questions about how best to finance their Part-Time MBA. We believe that financing your education doesn't need to be complicated and have collected the following resources to help you.

Northeastern University's Student Financial Services website is your best resource for the most current and comprehensive information to help prepare you financially.

Your financial aid advisor will work with you one-on-one to answer your questions, point you to resources and provide valuable insight as you navigate the financial commitments of your program. Your advisor will be your partner in understanding the forms, terminology, numbers, and deadlines. Together, you'll create a financial plan that makes sense for you and your family's unique financial circumstances.

You can set up an appointment through the Student Financial Services Inquiry Form, or if you have activated your Northeastern Account, you can book a virtual appointment via the student hub.

Northeastern University and the Dolce Center for the Advancement of Veterans and Servicemembers (CAVS) in partnership with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) are honored to offer the Yellow Ribbon program.

Graduate classes will start on September 6, 2023. Your academic advisor will enroll you into your fall term classes in August. You do not need to do anything! Your advisor will notify you when your registration is complete. Please review your curriculum map. It will outline the course requirements and sequencing that you can expect in this program.

Once you are registered for classes, a tuition bill will be generated which you will access via the myNortheastern portal.

Your Student Services team will support you in achieving your academic and professional goals, and improving your graduate school experience. Your dedicated advisor is with you throughout graduate student life–they provide academic advising, connect you with resources, and organize student social clubs and events.
