Welcome to our Waitlist Frequently Asked Questions page. We understand that being placed on the waitlist can be both exciting and uncertain. This section aims to address common questions.

Please review the following FAQs carefully. We appreciate your patience and continued interest in our programs.

ACTION NEEDED: Accept your place on the waitlist

The first step is to log into your application portal and accept your place on the waitlist. We'll send you an email as soon as possible if your decision status changes.

Being on the waitlist means you are qualified for admission, and we see your potential. However, we cannot offer you a spot at this time due to limited space. The D'Amore-McKim Graduate Admissions Committee has to make difficult decisions and is committed to maintaining our small class size.

We do not rank our waitlist. We ask that you remain patient, as decisions will continue to be made up until the beginning of the academic term.

We do not provide specific feedback to waitlisted applicants. If you believe additional information, such as updated test scores, a promotion, or a job change, could strengthen your application, you can send updates to [email protected]. This is optional and may not change your decision status.

You can submit any significant updates to your application, such as new test scores or professional achievements. However, we cannot guarantee that these updates will change your status.

We will notify you if a spot becomes available. The timing can vary, so please be patient. Waitlist decisions occur on a rolling basis right up until the program begins.

Deferral requests are considered on a case-by-case basis. If you are admitted from the waitlist and wish to defer, please contact the admissions office for more information.

We appreciate that waiting is hard and are grateful for your continued interest in Northeastern. If you have additional questions about the admissions process, contact us at [email protected]
