Shane Schweitzer is an Assistant Professor of Management and Organizational Development at the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University. Prior to Northeastern University, he was a postdoctoral fellow at NUS Business School at National University of Singapore in the Centre on AI Technology for Humankind (AiTH). He received his PhD in Management and Organizations from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Shane studies the psychology of technology, specifically, how people perceive advanced technologies and how technology changes the way people perceive other humans. He investigates the consequences of these processes for organizational ethics, social connection, and emotion. His research has been published in outlets such as Journal of Experimental Psychology: General, Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, and Social Psychological and Personality Science.
