With over 34 years of industry experience and nearly two decades in academia, I am a seasoned professional in operations, supply chain management, and data analytics, dedicated to bridging the gap between strategic business challenges and data-driven solutions. My career is defined by a unique dual focus: as a senior educator shaping the next generation of business leaders, and as a hands-on consultant driving operational excellence for specialized industries.
In my academic roles as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell, and at Northeastern University, I have spent over 16 years developing and delivering advanced curricula in data analytics, information management, and applied business statistics. I specialize in translating complex topics—such as regression modeling, simulation analysis, Six Sigma, and Lean methodologies—into accessible, impactful learning experiences for both undergraduate and graduate students. My teaching is further enriched by integrating tools like SAP SAC, Blackboard, and Canvas, as well as my practical industry insights, ensuring that students gain both theoretical knowledge and real-world application. Beyond the classroom, I have contributed to student success as a Transfer Student Advisor and by collaborating with the APICS Society to drive meaningful academic and professional programming.
Concurrently, I have maintained a parallel career as a strategic operations and supply chain consultant for the perfume, coffee, and weighing/packaging industries. In this capacity, I partner with organizations to enhance efficiency and scalability through data-driven decision-making. My expertise spans demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and end-to-end supply chain analytics. I have led successful SAP implementations to automate workflows and improve real-time inventory tracking, developed predictive models to minimize stockouts, and applied Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline production and packaging processes. Notably, I have also guided sustainability initiatives by introducing eco-friendly packaging solutions while ensuring rigorous regulatory compliance.
I combine analytical rigor with a practical, results-oriented approach. Whether in the classroom or the boardroom, I am passionate about using data and process improvement to solve complex problems, drive operational excellence, and empower others to make better, more informed decisions.
