Laura Twohig is the Regional Education Manager for Steelcase, covering the New England market. At Steelcase, Twohig is responsible for sharing Steelcase’s human-centered design thinking research so that her clients are aware of the latest insights regarding employee/student behaviors in their spaces, to enable them to make informed buying decisions and to be successful. Twohig has been a leader at Steelcase for 25+ years in many areas of the business – including engineering, IT, Project Management, Customer Experience, Product and Process Development, Design Thinking, Experience Development, Training and Sales.

Twohig holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Michigan State University, a Masters of Education from Aquinas College and a Graduate certificate of applied statistics from Penn State University. Twohig has a passion for teaching others and has been teaching as an Adjunct Professor since 2005 at various schools (ITT Technical Institute, Davenport University, Clark University and Northeastern University). Subjects taught include math, statistics, problem solving, project and process management, agile project management, IT finance, econ and budgeting, Design Thinking and Innovation.

In her spare time, Twohig enjoys golf, exercise, music and volunteering with Greater Boston Food Bank, Heading Home, and Recess (a group who watches children and their siblings with special needs, while their parents go out).
