Students arriving in Oakland are excited about global learning and Co-op experiences available to them. First-year D'Amore-McKim student Ethan Burn looks forward to the experiential learning opportunities that await him, “I liked the idea of the Northeastern co-op experience. I liked the idea of engaging in the real world.”

Like college students across the country, the 900 new students arriving at the Oakland campus will attend orientation events to get them acclimated to campus and college life. Different from many college students will be the experiences of the 280 “global scholars,” who can choose to study at another Northeastern campus — such as Boston or London — after their first semester in Oakland.
