The D'Amore-McKim School of Business, Dunton Family Dean Raj Echambadi, and D'Amore-McKim Board of Visitors (BoV) Co-chairs Dolph Johnson and Roxanne Martinez are pleased to announce four new members to the Board of Visitors. Michelle DeStefano, MS'18 of Clean Harbors, Richard Jerbi, MBA'99 of White Mountains Advisors, Jillian Nelson of Dunkin' Brands, and Mai Lan Nguyen of Schneider Electric join the Board as new members effective early 2021.  

DeStefano, Jerbi, Nelson, and Nguyen collectively contribute a wide variety of experiences in human resources, financial services, and marketing to the BoV and represent companies that are critical partners of D'Amore-McKim in the areas of co-op, job placement, curriculum development, and philanthropy. They will provide critical perspectives and insights for Dean Echambadi on continuing to execute his vision for D'Amore-McKim.  

DeStefano is the Senior Director of Human Resources and Employee Engagement at Clean Harbors. She has deep experience in human resources and consulting, especially employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, improving business processes, and utilizing data for decision-making. She has been with Clean Harbors since 2012, and previously worked in a variety of consulting and project management roles, including her own consulting company. She has an undergraduate degree from SUNY Binghamton and completed her MS in Innovation at D'Amore-McKim in 2018.  

Jerbi serves as the Senior Vice President of Equities/Alternative Investment at White Mountain Advisors, the asset management arm of White Mountains Insurance Group (NYSE: WTM), an insurance and financial services holding company focused on value creation in the insurance sector. He has been with White Mountain Advisors for almost 17 years; he previously worked as a senior financial consultant at Parson Consulting. He earned his undergraduate degree at the Institut des Hautes Etudes Commerciales in Tunisia and his MBA from D'Amore-McKim in 1999. He also completed the Program for Leadership Development (PLD) at Harvard Business School.

Nelson is the Vice President of Dunkin' Marketing and Culinary. She has served in a variety of other roles at Dunkin' over the last five years, including marketing, corporate strategy and planning, and in the CEO's office. She holds an undergraduate degree from Duke University and an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.   

Nguyen serves as the SVP of Human Resources, North America at Schneider Electric. She previously served in a variety of other HR roles at Schneider, including VP of HR roles in China and Brazil. She has Masters degrees from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Grenoble and CIFFOP, the Interdisciplinary Center for Human Resources Education in Paris. 

The BoV is comprised of business leaders in all sectors and serves as a vital link between D'Amore-McKim and the business community. Its purpose is to help D'Amore-McKim shape strategic goals, build and strengthen relationships and visibility within the business community, and provide support for undergraduate, graduate, and executive programs.
