The Graduate Career Center is excited to announce its first Career Exploration Week, which will take place from Oct. 25–29. Join esteemed guests and fellow colleagues to learn more about launching your career.

Building a sense of belonging in the workplace is a community-wide endeavor. Employees need to feel seen and heard within their organizations to achieve their peak performance. Allowing employees to express their identity isn't just the right thing to do; it's a smart investment in any organization's greatest asset—their team members.

Join us for a candid discussion about ways that you can lead with your identity at work and how you can contribute to an inclusive, safe, and successful environment for your colleagues.

The conversation will be moderated by Brown University's Associate Dean of Students Dr. Alicia LaPolla, who has conducted extensive research about acceptance and belonging. Panelists include the Executive Director of Sexual Assault Response Services of Southern Maine, Gina Capra, who has led extensive trainings on promoting inclusion and headed Simmons University's health and wellness team; Cortney Tunis, who is currently a diversity, equity, and inclusion trainer and previously served as the head of activation for Supermajority and as founding executive director for Pantsuit Nation; and Rian Finnegan, global employer brand manager at Peloton Interactive and an undergraduate alum of Northeastern University.
