Julie Chasse

Julie Chasse is the Director of the Graduate School of Professional Accounting and is responsible for overseeing the graduate accounting programs including recruiting, admissions, scholarships, curriculum, advising, internship, and career services. Prior to working at Northeastern, she taught college-level accounting and worked as a Tax Manager at EY.

Panelists

William Goldman

William (Bill) Goldman is a senior lecturer in the accounting department at D'Amore-McKim, teaching in both undergraduate and graduate programs. He has received awards for innovative teaching practices from Northeastern and from the American Accounting Association.  He is a two-time winner of the D'Amore-McKim Best Teacher of the Year Award.

Goldman co-founded the HUB of Analytics Education, a not-for-profit that designs and implements corporate trainings for open educational resources to users around the world. Prior to joining academia, he earned his MSA/MBA from Northeastern and worked as an auditor at a Big 4 accounting firm.

Tom Leonard is the Senior Consultant at Deloitte and an MS in Accounting/MBA '18 graduate. Tom works at Deloitte as a senior consultant in the transactions M&A group of the risk and financial advisory practice and is passionate about the value data analytics adds to deals for clients. Prior to Deloitte, he worked at PwC in assurance focusing on hedge fund and endowments where he used automations to assist in the audit testing with these clients. Tom graduated from the GSPA MSA/MBA program in 2018. Before that, he attended the Align MS in Computer Science program at the Khoury College of Computer Science at Northeastern. It is the combination of these two educational experiences that fueled his interest in accounting and analytics.
