Program options

The business landscape is evolving rapidly, and professionals need more than general knowledge to move into management — they need the right skills in the right areas, built on a foundation that accounts for what they already know. The D'Amore-McKim Online MS in Management was designed for that.

The OMSM is built around four core business domains: Managing Organizations, Data-Driven Management, Strategy and Growth, and Finance and Operations. Within each domain, you select one course based on your existing experience level — from foundational to advanced — so the curriculum builds on your background rather than ignoring it. From there, you choose one of five concentrations to develop real depth in the area most relevant to your career.

Depending on your background, experience, and goals, you can choose from five concentrations:

  • Artificial Intelligence: Apply AI and machine learning concepts to business strategy and organizational decision-making. Designed for professionals who want to lead in an increasingly AI-driven business environment.
  • Business Analytics: Build the data fluency to drive smarter decisions across functions. Covers analytical methods, data interpretation, and the application of insights in a business context.
  • Corporate Finance: Develop expertise in financial analysis, capital allocation, and investment decision-making. Designed for professionals moving into finance-focused roles or building financial acumen alongside other business skills.
  • Corporate Innovation: Build the organizational capacity to lead change and drive growth. Covers innovation strategy, entrepreneurial thinking, and the management of new initiatives within established organizations.
  • Leading People and Organizations: Develop the management and leadership skills to build, direct, and develop high-performing teams. Designed for professionals moving into people management or looking to strengthen their leadership foundation.

Applicant FAQs

The Online MS in Management is designed for early-career professionals and career changers who want to build business expertise and move into management without committing to a two- or three-year program. If you're working in a non-business role and looking for a faster path to a graduate credential, or if you're a few years into your career and ready to build deeper expertise in a specific area, this program was built for you.

The Fast App is a streamlined path to enrollment — no GMAT, no GRE, no minimum GPA required. You complete two pathway courses that serve as your entry point into the program.

Note: students enrolled through the Fast App are not eligible for federal financial aid during their pathway courses. If federal aid is a priority from day one, the Standard App is the better fit.

The Standard App follows a traditional admissions review — credentials are evaluated upfront and students enter the program fully matriculated. This is the right path for students who need federal financial aid from the start, prefer a complete admissions decision before beginning coursework, or are international students bringing foreign transcripts to the process.

You can learn more or start your application on our admissions page.
