Program structure
More options, fewer obstacles
Our MS in Finance program is designed for fully employed professionals who need flexibility to accommodate their other commitments.
As you're learning, you'll set the pace. On a typical part-time schedule of two courses each term, you'll earn your master's degree in two years, or you can work with your academic advisor to accelerate your completion.
If you need to go slower in order to accommodate your work and family commitments, you may extend your studies as needed up to seven years.
Create a class schedule that works for you. Evening classes run Monday through Thursday on our Boston campus, and you can choose from 5:20 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. class times.
To streamline your schedule, you might consider taking two classes on the same night. Alternatively, you may prefer to space your courses out. Intensive elective courses, such as our Global Field Study, last less than 10 days, allowing you to immerse yourself in a topic and spark innovation.
It's all up to you, and you can adjust each semester.
You'll dive headfirst into experiences that will give you a fresh perspective and in-demand skills. You can design and complete project assignments related to your own company or a company where you aspire to work.
Apply to join the student-led management team of the 360 Huntington Fund, where students research, recommend, and choose the stocks that make up the fund. By participating, you can earn 1 credit per semester up to three times.
Complete the Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) and the Bloomberg Environmental, Social, & Governance (ESG) certification process to gain a deeper understanding of how businesses operate in the global economy—and how they implement strategies to become better corporate citizens.
This 3-credit course immerses students in the global business environment through exposure to the practices and culture of a specific destination. The semester includes academic coursework and a one-week trip featuring meetings with executives, guest speakers, and visits to local universities and firms, along with culturally significant sites.
