Seventeen exceptional D'Amore-McKim students have been named to Northeastern's prestigious Huntington 100. This award, bestowed on Northeastern University's most accomplished students, celebrates a select group whose achievements span leadership, innovation, and resilience.
President Joseph E. Aoun addressed the inductees at the Boston campus ceremony, highlighting the responsibility that comes with their achievements. “You are part of a very, very select group,” Aoun said. “Congratulations; you should be proud of that. I am proud of you, but it's not enough.” Aoun encouraged students to consider future roles as trustees, Ph.D. candidates, and faculty members at Northeastern.
The 17 D'Amore-McKim inductees embody a commitment to academic excellence, leadership, and innovation, each contributing a unique perspective shaped by their journeys at Northeastern. Maxwell Schriro, DMSB '25, for instance, has immersed himself in asset management, tech, and campus leadership, leading initiatives for the LGBTQ+ and business communities. “Being inducted into the Huntington 100 is a deeply rewarding honor,” Schriro shared. “I owe so much to my professors in D'Amore-McKim, whose support and mentorship have guided many of my accomplishments.”
For Sebastian Sanchez, DMSB '25, co-founder of Phytabar, the award highlights his personal growth and the community that has supported him. “Receiving the Huntington 100 award is an incredible honor and a reflection of the growth, resilience, and support I've found at Northeastern,” he expressed.
Many honorees credit their experiences and mentorship at D'Amore-McKim for their success. Tiffany Nguyen, DMSB '25, reflected on the resilience and risk-taking skills she developed through co-ops, saying, “My mentors have shaped my inspiration, stories, and growth, and I could not be more thankful!” Similarly, Christine Ahn shared her gratitude for those who helped her thrive: “Each individual and experience has empowered me to grow into my best self, and I will carry that growth with me everywhere I go.”
From leading student organizations to excelling in finance, entrepreneurship, and management, these students showcase the versatility of a D'Amore-McKim education. Ananya Mahansaria, DMSB '25, who explored her interests across finance, startups, and brand management, attributes her achievements to her professors and peers. At the same time, to Abou-Bakar Ouattara, DMSB '25, induction is a tribute to the encouragement of his D'Amore-McKim mentors, Professors Peggy O'Kelly and Adonis Antoniades. “Their unwavering dedication has motivated me to strive for excellence both inside and outside the classroom,” Ouattara says, adding that he feels deeply honored to be recognized.
These students are not only accomplished but also driven to make a lasting impact on their community. Jason Singer, DMSB '25, highlighted how his time at D'Amore-McKim has allowed him to embrace challenges and mentor others, sharing that, “from fostering meaningful connections to creating initiatives that will outlast my time here, these experiences have shaped me into a more resilient and driven individual.”
Together, these D'Amore-McKim students represent the future of business leadership. Their achievements inspire their peers and reflect Northeastern's core values of collaboration, agility, and a commitment to service. As they move forward, they carry the responsibility of leading with purpose and setting a standard for the next generation.
