Research & Teaching Interests

Aproova Koticha is interested in research in portfolio management and trading, as well as derivatives. He has taught undergraduate, MBA, executive MBA, MFin, and MSQF students. His areas of teaching include financial derivatives, fixed income, basic and advanced portfolio management, and alternative investments.

Industry Experience

Koticha worked in the financial industry for a quarter of a century prior to joining Northeastern. He started his career on the sell side at Citigroup, where he rose to the post of managing director in charge of their interest-rate as well as global multi-asset (hybrid) derivatives books, in New York and London. Next, he moved to the buy side, where he was a founding partner at Archeus Capital Management, a hedge fund in New York. He then spent many years as a managing director and portfolio manager at Harvard Management Company in Boston, and he most recently was the CEO at Cambridge Square Capital Management, a hedge fund in Boston.
