Victoria Preys is a part-time professor committed to knowledge transfer, drawing on extensive corporate and academic experience, with a passion for talent growth and unlocking potential in future generations through learning, development, and experimentation. She brings hands-on practical and theoretical teaching to the design of balanced, rigorous curricula for undergraduate and graduate degrees in Business Administration and Management, complemented by two decades of international and local corporate experience in the consumer and pharmaceutical industries.
Preys has taught as a part-time professor at Northeastern University since July 2026 and previously at the same institution under its former name, MMC, from 2016 to 2026, delivering courses in Leadership & Organizational Behavior, Corporate Finance, and Business Ethics.
Beyond the classroom, Preys is the Founder and President of a venture that was later acquired: beprofessional.com, acquired by Deloitte & Touche. She has been an invited speaker at the Advancing Women's Leadership Conference, the Digital Strategy & Innovation for MA Summit, and Operational Digitalization & Beyond, and has served as a selected coach for mid-level professionals at Pfizer's EU headquarters in a multilingual, multicultural setting, as well as a selected mentor for the Business Affairs Network for Women Professionals.
In her industry career, Preys currently serves as Global Portfolio Operations Group Head at Merck across the USA and Switzerland, supporting Oncology, Vaccines & Infectious Disease Areas. She previously progressed from Operational Excellence Senior Analyst to Team Lead at Pfizer for over 16 years across the USA, Belgium, Japan, and China, holding global, regional, and market-level roles spanning Clinical, Commercial, Manufacturing, Market Access, and Medical Affairs. She has managed multinational teams and multi-billion-dollar annual budgets, led strategic initiatives and acquisitions, and worked to bring innovation to patients and healthcare communities worldwide.
