Q:What do you do in your current job/what are your responsibilities?

A:I perform a variety of services relating to structured financial products, mostly focusing on Mortgage Backed Securities. My group is relied on in the firm to have the subject matter expertise relating to illiquid debt instruments so that we can provide broad accounting, tax, regulatory and transaction services to our client's. A typical day involves working with banks on new issuances of mortgage back securities and/or assisting the audit teams in the valuation of the client's debt portfolio.
