D'Amore-McKim student Eliana Berger, DMSB'21, launched the first virtual accelerator developed and run by students for students. Envision Accelerator will host online workshops, offer one-on-one mentorship from investors and founders of successful companies, and provide students insights into funding strategies.

“Because Northeastern students are with us during the busy season, they spend most of their time on-site, interacting with our clients. This is a huge advantage. It's the real thing.”

D'Amore-McKim alum and member of Northeastern's Young Global Leaders program, Emilio Botin, DMSB'18, was one of the moderators in an online discussion led by Joseph E. Aoun, president of Northeastern, on the pandemic aftermath in the Latin American economy.

D'Amore-McKim Marketing Lecturer Duane Lefevre led 17 Northeastern students on a Virtual Dialogue of Civilizations, a digitally immerse experience that introduced students to cross-culture perspectives and executives in global business.

During 2020's Summer I session, six Northeastern College of Engineering and D'Amore-McKim students worked together in the “Entrepreneurship Directed Study: Personal Protection Equipment” to help healthcare workers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Firms are going to be looking for people with higher-level skills who have a better understanding of the big picture in business. This makes it increasingly important for students to understand [these] skills.”
