As director of programs and student services, Gail oversees student services and academic advising. She focuses on driving efforts that help students connect with each other and develop their networks on campus through community-building events. She is the liaison to the faculty for students and the Graduate Programs team.
Under Gail’s leadership, the student services team provides strategic and career-focused academic advising, as well as proactive student life management and personal advising. Gail champions efforts to improve and enhance the D’Amore-McKim graduate student experience. Overall, she fosters a culture of responsiveness, accountability, and support among staff for students’ needs and initiatives.
Gail has dedicated her career to helping students successfully navigate their academic journey. Prior to coming to Northeastern University, Gail held a similar role at Boston University as a director of graduate programs for seven years. Before that, she served as an associate director of undergraduate programs. Before focusing on student services, Gail had a broad background in higher education, having held higher education administration roles at Boston College, Simmons College, Babson College, and Syracuse University.
