Enio Velazco is a Principal Lecturer in the Supply Chain & Information Management academic area at Northeastern University's D'Amore-McKim School of Business. He brings more than 30 years of global leadership experience as a Fortune 500 executive, business transformation leader, and organizational strategist, with senior roles at SAP, Philips, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and other multinational organizations.
Before joining Northeastern in 2021, Velazco led large-scale digital transformation, organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, and process improvement initiatives spanning technology, manufacturing, healthcare, professional services, education, and the public sector. His work included designing and implementing enterprise-wide systems for ERP, talent management, leadership development, organizational restructuring, post-merger integration, and business transformation.
Velazco is passionate about bridging academic theory and real-world business practice. His teaching, scholarship, and professional interests span global supply chain strategy, operations management, digital transformation, business analytics, artificial intelligence, and strategic human capital management. He also designs and leads international experiential learning programs that build the global perspective and cross-cultural competencies students need to succeed in today's interconnected business environment.
He is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), the Production & Operations Management Society (POMS), the Senior Human Resources Network (SHRN), and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
