Brian Wolfe joined the D’Amore-McKim School of Business in 2025 after working as an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas San Antonio and the University at Buffalo. He earned his Ph.D. in finance from Indiana University. Previously, he worked in the petrochemical industry for LyondellBasell and was a founder of a startup that produced and sold children’s superhero capes. His research focuses on financial intermediation and financial technology topics, including banking competition, peer-to-peer lending, crowdfunding, digital tokens, and machine learning.
