Andrés Shahidinejad is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the D’Amore McKim School of Business at Northeastern University. In addition, he holds a joint appointment as an Assitant Professor of Economics at the Department of Economics at Northeastern University.

His primary research areas are in household and consumer finance. In addition, he studies the role of nonprofit banks in credit markets, how data-sharing agreements among lenders help reduce informational asymmetries, and the determinants of access to banking services across geography.

At Northeastern University, he teaches Financial Management at the D’Amore McKim School of Business and Topics in Information Economics at the Economics Department.

Andrés received a BA in Economics from Brandeis University and an MBA and Ph.D. in Economics from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
