At a Glance: Full-Time MBA Changes Coming This Fall

  • Core class requirements were reduced to just the first fall semester to allow for more electives and experiences throughout your time at D'Amore-McKim.
  • A reduced core allows for more flexibility to learn things you're interested in both inside and outside your concentrations. You can begin your elective coursework in the spring of your first year, and you'll have 15 credits of free electives (including 3 credits of experiential learning other than your residency).
  • More concentrations, which currently include Business Analytics, Corporate Innovation & Venturing, Entrepreneurship, Finance (Corporate Finance or Investments), Healthcare Management, International Business, Leading People & Organizations, Marketing, and Supply Chain Management.
  • More residency options, including a three-month residency, a six-month residency, or up to twelve months of residency to suit many different needs.
  • Students are now required to take electives outside the business school, because our corporate partners have told us that graduates with interdisciplinary knowledge are highly desirable.
  • The credits required to complete your degree have been reduced from 60 to 55, resulting in an overall decrease in program costs for you.
