The Center for Emerging Markets hosted nearly 70 academics and 15 prominent international speakers to discuss China, India and Brazil and other markets that are driving much of today's global economy.

Organized by CEM Fellows Alvaro Cuervo-Cazurra and Ravi Ramamurti, this conference explored theoretical issues raised by emerging-market MNCs that led to Understanding Multinationals from Emerging Markets (Cambridge, 2014). Among the distinguished participants were seven Fellows of AIB, the incoming President of SMS and two past Presidents of AIB. Nearly 100 faculty members and PhD students from around the world attended the event.
