The Cornell Emerging Markets Institute (EMI) annual conference, co-sponsored by CEM, was held at the Cornell Tech campus on Roosevelt Island. Under the theme of Constructive Engagement, the 2019 conference explored the diverse challenges brought by the U.S.-China trade war and the need to build bridges and encourage dialogue.
This one-day conference was the institute's flagship event to launch EMI's 2019 report and bring together leading academics, students, and business and opinion leaders to discuss important developments in emerging markets.
