Last night, the Center for Emerging Markets (CEM) at Northeastern University celebrated the culmination of two years of its Srinivasan Family Awards student grant program with a reception attended by over a dozen past student and alumni awardees, as well as faculty and staff partners.

“I have to give Northeastern credit for allowing me to balance all sides of myself… When I go to class, I apply everything I'm doing professionally and personally…I'm always leaning into my personal growth.” says Nico Nava, Part-Time MBA'21

“Having never taken a business course prior to entering the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration program, it was the perfect way to get my feet wet. It didn't take me long to realize that earning my certificate would only be the beginning of my business career.”says Eames.

“I would highly recommend D'Amore-McKim. The program‘s connections to some of the biggest accounting firms in the world and the paid corporate residency make it worth it in itself, but the hands-on experience coupled with the classroom knowledge make this program an even bigger no-brainer for anyone interested in accounting.”

“The program also emphasizes mentorship and networking, which has been valuable. I've connected with professionals and peers who inspire and challenge me. This experience has truly helped prepare me for my future career.” – David B., MSA/MBA'24

More than 40 ventures showcased their work at NEXPO, Northeastern's bi-annual entrepreneurship expo.

McKim, co-chair of the campaign and member of the Northeastern Board of Trustees, told News@Northeastern that the gift is intended to honor the leadership of Northeastern President Joseph E. Aoun. The money will be used to establish eight new endowed chairs across the university.

“By working closely with the students, the professors ensure each student has gained knowledge, skills, and values to carry into the future,” says Katrina Katsoulis, MSA'16
