After a competitive selection process, eight outstanding undergraduate students were selected to join CEM's Student Associate program for the upcoming 2026-27 academic year.
This cohort is one of the most geographically and academically diverse we've welcomed. Students hail from India, China, Colombia, the Bahamas, and across the United States, and several bring firsthand experience living and working inside emerging markets, from finance internships in Mumbai and Dubai to a semester spent in Egypt, Bosnia, and Serbia through Northeastern's Dialogue+ program. Their academic backgrounds span data science, international business, economics, experience design, and sustainability, and two are currently enrolled in Northeastern's interdisciplinary Emerging Markets minor.
As Associates, they will support faculty research, help organize student-facing programming, and contribute to CEM's broader mission of advancing knowledge and dialogue around emerging markets. We're excited to see what they build.
