The Center for Emerging Markets brings numerous scholars and thought leaders to share their latest insights on emerging markets through research seminars through our Nardone Family Seminar Series.
Our Faculty Fellows conduct award-winning research and organize international academic conferences and workshops with leading partner schools. CEM has also supported the research of over 40 fellows through a mini-grants program over 10 years.

Nardone Research Seminars
CEM's longtime seminar series has hosted over 150 speakers, discussing topics ranging from family business to climate resilience, fintech trends to medical innovation, corporate governance to international policy, and more. This series is supported by a gift from David. R. Nardone.
Faculty Research Grants
The Center for Emerging Markets has supported Faculty Fellows in their research with research mini-grants from 2009 to 2019. These grants have been supported by grants from the US Department of Education, gifts by Northeastern University faculty, alumni, and an anonymous donor.
