Mila is an Economics student at the Northeastern University honors program with minors in Argumentation & Law and Music Industry on the pre-law track. From working to address the gap in music education access in Newark, NJ to working with an immigration lawyer as a legal assistant, Mila has experienced first-hand the various ways in which developments in markets and changes in policies can create domino effects through communities. Her interest in emerging markets centers around the intersection of economics and law, and how they are constantly evolving to address and react to modern issues.
At Northeastern, Mila is involved in the Council for University Programs, Phi Alpha Delta pre-law fraternity, and NU Rangila, a nationally competing Indian-fusion dance team.
Through the Center for Emerging Markets, Mila hopes to gain more insight into how emerging and developing markets influence policy decisions and consumer behavior, as well as how reinterpretations of law affect relevant markets.
