Olivia Shi is pursuing a major in Business Administration and Design with concentrations in Supply Chain Management and Experience Design. Her interest in international business sparked during a semester abroad in London, where she became fascinated by how cultural differences shape market strategy and the way companies adapt to new environments.

That curiosity evolved into a deeper interest in emerging markets and global risk dynamics. As global supply chains often rely on manufacturing hubs and logistics networks in emerging economies, she is drawn to understanding how businesses navigate uncertainty and build adaptive, data-informed strategies. She also enjoys thinking about how these global insights translate into product and experience design, informing how products are developed, positioned, and adapted to meet diverse user needs while remaining operationally feasible.

On campus, Olivia is also actively involved in the Northeastern Supply Chain Management Club as Vice President of Marketing and TEDx NortheasternU as Director of Media, where she combines creativity with organization to bring ideas to life. As a CEM Student Associate, she looks forward to supporting event programming, expanding CEM's outreach, and contributing to conversations around global business and emerging markets.
