Pratyush is a Data Science student at Northeastern University with a strong interest particularly in areas like finance, technology, and family businesses. Originally from Pune, India, his background has shaped his interest in understanding how businesses operate and grow in markets like India. He has been actively involved with the Center for Emerging Markets, attending events and participating in programs such as the Revvity Shadowing Program in Spring 2026, which deepened his exposure to global business practices.

Academically, Pratyush has explored both technical and real-world problems, including research on Reinforcement Learning and a project studying the impact of the Slum Rehabilitation Scheme in Maharashtra. Alongside this, his internships have given him hands-on experience in financial analysis and investment decision-making within emerging market contexts. Pratyush is also a board member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization Future Leaders and a member of the Family Business Network, which have helped him learn from global entrepreneurs and family enterprises.

Outside academics, Pratyush founded a nonprofit in Pune focused on healthcare and child development.
