Brenda Belgamo

Brenda Belgamo majored in International Business with a concentration in Corporate Innovation and completed minors in Leadership and Human Capital and Emerging Markets. Growing up in São Paulo, she watched Brazil navigate the tension between rapid growth and deep inequality, an experience that drove her to pursue international business and, eventually, to CEM.

As Director of the 2025 BRASA Summit Américas, she organized and hosted the largest conference of Brazilian students in North America at Northeastern, drawing more than 500 students from across the United States and Canada for two days of panels, workshops, and conversations with business leaders, policymakers, and researchers shaping Brazil's future. She also served as Marketing Chair of the Brazilian Student Association, contributed to CEM's inaugural Student Research Expo on Emerging Markets, and conducted research with CEM Faculty Fellow Alexandra Roth throughout her tenure as an Associate.

After graduation, Belgamo joined Schneider Electric in a full-time role, focusing on AI in business in Latin America.
