The Center for Emerging Markets, in partnership with the Revvity Foundation, is proud to support exceptional graduate students from emerging markets who are pursuing their studies at Northeastern University's D'Amore-McKim School of Business through the Revvity Access CEM Scholarship.

Emerging markets are home to some of the world's most talented and driven students, many of whom face significant financial barriers. Through the generous support of the Revvity Foundation, we're helping to level the playing field for these future leaders.

What We Offer

  • Financial Support: Three awards of $2,000 each to help offset educational expenses
  • Executive Mentorship: An exclusive opportunity to shadow Revvity C-suite executives for 1-3 days in March 2026 and learn about what leaders do
  • Network Building: Connection with Revvity leadership and fellow scholarship recipients

Eligibility

This program is designed for graduate students from emerging market countries who have a financial need and aspire to hone their strategic and leadership skills.

Specifically, applicants should meet the following eligibility requirements:

Academic Requirements
  • Full-time graduate student at Northeastern University D'Amore-McKim School of Business
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5
  • Good academic standing with expected graduation of May 2026 or later
Geographic Requirements
  • Citizen or permanent resident of an emerging market economy (any country with a per-capita income under US $14,000)

In addition, applicants should be available for a shadowing opportunity during the first week of March 2026 and committed to producing two deliverables by the end of March 2026:

  • A 1,500-word essay summarizing what you learned from the shadowing exercise; and
  • A succinct 500-word essay for Revvity's top management with your observations on the company

Program Timeline

January 19, 2025: Application deadline (11:59 PM EST)
Late-January 2026: Award recipients announced
February 2026: CXO matching and program preparation
Early March 2026: Executive shadowing program

Application Process

Students may click on the application portal at the bottom of the page to apply. In the portal, they will be asked to provide

  • Contact information
  • Resume
  • A 300-word personal statement
  • The name and email of the faculty member who will be sending a recommendation email

Students must also arrange for a professor to send CEM a recommendation email (sent directly to [email protected])

Selection Criteria

Applications will be reviewed by the Center for Emerging Markets' Director and Program Manager.

Applications will be evaluated on:

  • Academic excellence
  • Leadership potential and professional goals
  • Personal statement quality
