Vivek Sharma is a seasoned board leader, investor, and philanthropist, currently serving on the boards of Konovo and Agilix Health.
With more than 30 years of global leadership experience across the life sciences and financial sectors, Vivek brings a distinctive combination of expertise in private equity, pharmaceutical services, data analytics, and artificial intelligence. His leadership philosophy centers on aligning the interests of investors, customers, and employees to drive sustainable growth and long-term value creation.
Vivek has held several prominent leadership roles across global organizations. Most recently, he served as Executive Chairman of Cohance Life Sciences. He was previously Chief Executive Officer of Saama Technologies, where he led innovation at the intersection of AI and life sciences. Earlier, as CEO of Piramal Pharma Solutions, he drove international expansion and operational scale-up. He also served as Chairman and CEO of Adare Pharma Solutions and as CEO of Decision Resources Group. In recognition of his industry leadership, Vivek was named Global CEO of the Year by the CPhI Pharma Awards in 2015.
Vivek holds an Executive MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and is both a Chartered Accountant and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Beyond his professional roles, he is deeply committed to philanthropy, supporting initiatives focused on women's empowerment, education, social advocacy, and environmental sustainability. He has served on the board of Center for Emerging Markets since 2019 and actively advises several biotechnology and technology start-ups.
