Luiz R. Vasconcelos is the President of FedEx's Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) Division, maintaining overall responsibility for the region, which includes approximately 23,000 team members in more than 50 countries and territories. His primary focus is the broader strategic direction of the Latin America and Caribbean region, as well as magnifying the FedEx Express presence across the region. Furthermore, he is responsible for integrating the region into the FedEx global network, which serves more than 220 countries and territories worldwide. Luiz holds an MBA from Northeastern University and a bachelor's degree in Economics from the Catholic University of Pernambuco. He also holds a specialization course in finance from Harvard University Extension School.
Luiz currently serves on the Board of Directors of Council of the Americas and CLADEC (Conference of Latin American and Caribbean Express Companies) and is the Co-Chair of the Trade Facilitation Working Group for the U.S.-Mexico CEO Dialogue, an organization founded by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Consejo Coordinador Empresarial to strengthen economic and commercial ties between the two countries.
