Eleisha Douglas is pursuing a major in International Business and International Affairs with a minor in Economics and concentrations in Global Business and Strategy, Finance, and Fintech. Her passion for emerging markets deepened through transformative experiences abroad— through the NU in France program to her Dialogue of Civilizations in the Balkans. Witnessing political systems and sociopolitical movements in multiple European environments illuminated the critical insights of emerging markets in corporate innovation and governance structures.
Academically, Eleisha is driven by her love of Mergers and Acquisitions and cross-border economic development. At Northeastern, she actively engages with DEI initiatives and the Global Market Association as a Research Analyst, while following CEM Insights publications and panels on multinational strategies.
As a CEM Student Associate, Eleisha aims to advance research while developing educational programming to connect students pursuing international co-ops with practical knowledge of emerging market strategies through workshops, mentorship initiatives, and campus events.
