This April, CEM welcomed its fourth cohort of Student Associates in anticipation of the 2025-2026 academic year. After a competitive selection process, nine exceptional students were chosen to support CEM's mission of advancing research, education, and student outreach on emerging economies.
The Student Associate program empowers undergraduate students from across Northeastern University to engage deeply with emerging markets through organizing student-facing events, supporting faculty research, and contributing to CEM's programming efforts. These nine students representing three Northeastern colleges bring diverse academic backgrounds, international experiences, and research interests that span sustainability, finance, data science, economics, and international development. Several associates are also pursuing CEM's growing Emerging Markets minor.
